Ancient Arms of the Feist Family

Welcome to my Blog Page! I hope you enjoy all the many blogs I have in mind… I’m not even sure where to start! As you can tell from the tabs n such, I have many different things to say and talk about. From food to medical to government programs, jobs, hobbies, DNA, etc.

Above is a tab labeled Tracy’s Family Site. The site is far from complete, but from there, you can get a more in-depth knowledge of my ancestors, and some of the projects that I’m interested in genetically. As you can tell, I promote FtDNA for genetic testing. It is quickly growing and is one of the now largest data bases worldwide! In fact, this year, 2025, they are celebrating 25 years! Click on one of my links to head on over to check them out! (If you order from them by my link, I may or may not get a commission.) Or you can skip that step and just click here: https://www.familytreedna.com

The Historical parts that I touch on are mainly with certain people or groups of people that have left a major impact. For instance, I did one on John DeCourcy, I’m finishing up one on 1638 in America, I’m thinking about doing one on John Buchanan and possibly the Buchanan Clan. I would like to do some on historical landmarks as well! Did I ever mention, I love travelling?! I had a saying when I was younger when someone asked me if I wanted to go with, or if I knew they were leaving and wanted to go; that was “Tracy go bye-bye.”

Recipe’s are pretty self explanatory. I’ll share some of my favorite ones. Which yes, are going to be from my German side first. Cheese Buttons, any one? How about Pigs in a blanket? (And no, I’m not talking about hot dogs here.) Some of these are actual recipes from my grandma that was born in the early 1900’s… I don’t promise that they will be easy on the calories!

So pull up a chair, have a seat, and enjoy the ride!
